Jonathan Schiller is a co-founder and Managing Partner of Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP and oversees the Firm’s Pro Bono program. Mr. Schiller has been recognized by peer reviewed publications as “one of the premier international arbitration attorneys in the world” in Chambers USA, and The Legal 500; and as one of the Leading Lawyers in America, Law Dragon 500 (2006-2013).
Mr. Schiller was elected a fellow of the American Bar Foundation and appointed to the Milan Chamber of Commerce International Arbitration Club of Arbitrators.
Mr. Schiller received the Alexander Hamilton Medal for “distinguished service and accomplishment” from Columbia College in 2012 and also received the John Jay Award from Columbia College in 2006. He is a member of the Dean’s Council of Columbia Law School. His three sons are Columbia graduates: Zachary, Columbia College (’01), Joshua, Columbia Law School (’08) and Aaron, Columbia College (’06).
Mr. Schiller was a member of the 1967-1968 Ivy League Championship Basketball Team and was inducted into the Columbia University Athletic Hall of Fame in February 2006.
He has served for many years as a member of the Board of Directors of the Washington Tennis and Education Foundation that provides tennis instruction, academic tutoring and college counseling to at-risk children in Washington, D.C. He also serves on the Leadership Advisory Board for the Junior Tennis Champions Center in Washington, D.C.
